Designed by Lou DesRosiers Architects and built by Derocher Custom Homes, B&B was selected to install the roof on this custom residence. This roof is a combination of steep sloped and low sloped roofing systems. For the steep slate roof, we installed a two-color blend of 1/2″ – 3/4″ thick slates from Evergreen Slate Co., with copper flashings. Additionally, the home features custom copper dormers, copper cresting fence installed on the flat roofs, copper curved double lock roof panels, and copper flat lock soldered panels. Copper gutters and downspouts were installed and feature custom products from the Copper Shoppe. The slate roof transitions to the flat roof by utilizing a fully vented copper flashing. The membrane roof features a .90 mil EPDM roof over a fully tapered insulation system. B&B Glass custom fabricated and installed the pyramid skylight as well as installed custom glass and mirrors on the interior of the home.
